About Urban Krav Maga-
"If you want to know about Krav Maga, then check out the 6-disc DVD set by Stewart McGill…This is a very comprehensive, very instructional and professional product put together by NAP Ltd. Stewart was one of our earliest Krav Maga Instructors in the BCA and Instructional DVDs on the subject are very hard to come by. This is a really first rate product presented by people who know what they're doing and for anyone who has an interest in Self Defence, these 6 DVDs should have some space on your shelves."

About Paul's training-
"I was walking through Marylebone Station and as I exited the station, I
was asked by a man walking behind me whether I had any money. I said no. He
persisted in his questions. I had a pregnant friend with me and was mindful
of a situation occuring.
I turned to the man and responed negatively that I had no money. The man came closer to me. I put my hand on him (putting up the fence) and told him
I didn't want any trouble. He got annoyed. I asked him to calm down. At
that point he asked me again for money and threatened me with a stabbing if
I would not comply. I asked him whether he had ever had his
hair in a ponytail in order to distract him, following quickly with an elbow strike to
the face.
There was a tussle, I stuck my fingers
in his eyes and disengaged. I made sure my friend was ok and then walked
quickly back to my office entrance.
When interviewed by the Police I was positively commended by them on my
pre-emptive behaviour when threatened by a potential attacker, well known to
them and our security.
From one lesson with Paul I managed to employ the fence technique to gain space and protect myself and distract my attacker so that I could pre-empt his threat to stab me. Paul could well have saved my life."
George B.- Lawyer after one lesson with Paul
"I often have to walk home late at night from my bar job in the west end. The key techniques Paul has taught me in a very short amount of time has given me the confidence I need. They are simple and easy to learn and work even though I am only 5ft tall."
Jenny - Bar tender West End
" I have trained in various martial arts over the years from Taekwondo through to Muay Thai and other forms of Krav Maga. I found Muay Thai to be an excellent stand up system but to be honest after smashing focus mitts time after time I felt that something was seriously missing. I then found Paul who teaches the style Urban Krav Maga and it sounded ideal. From the offset I got a real feel for what would happen in a real life situation. I walked out of my first class feeling more confident than all the private lessons I had had before.
From that point on I was hooked. The class involves a thoroughly well explained and easily understood street fighting techniques session.
In conclusion, this system and Paul as a teacher incompasses everything one would need to stay in shape and feel extremely confident walking what seems to be the ever and ever more dangerous streets of London."

"Having trained with numerous martial arts/fighting schools it is a real pleasure training with Paul. As an instructor he has a professional yet very flexible approach. I have been especially impressed by his breakdown and analysis of techniques and that he is open to debate, which makes the techniques all the more convincing. Also his enthusiasm is very evident, by the way he encourages people to contact him between classes if they have any queries."
